NO. 37 MAX BY MAXWELL HOUSE CHEVROLET SS
DOVER INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY POST-RACE REPORT
Date/Time: Sunday, June 4 at 1:00 p.m. ET
TV Network/Radio: FS1 / MRN Radio / SiriusXM NASCAR Radio Channel 90
Chris Buescher and the No. 37 MAX by Maxwell House team headed into Sunday's race at Dover International Speedway prepared to tackle the "Monster Mile," but a late-race wreck caused the team to pit multiple times to repair right-side damage. Buescher was running as high as sixth when his Chevy and another car made contact following a restart, which caused significant damage to his ride. The team was able to repair most of the damage, and Buescher finished 23rd.
CHRIS BUESCHER QUOTES:
"Miles the Monster was not kind to us today," Buescher said. "We were struggling a little bit with the handling early on in the race, and the multitude of cautions were not helping our case in trying to make adjustments that would help our No. 37 MAX by Maxwell House car. Once we got to a long green flag run, we were able to maintain good speed and earn decent track position.
Unfortunately we just got
loose when we were running at the front, and the damage required a couple of trips to pit road to fix. We'll shift gears and head to Pocono (Raceway) next weekend, and I really enjoy racing there. We were able to pull off the win last year, and I'm really hoping to be able to do the same for JTG Daugherty Racing."
