CHRIS BUESCHER QUOTES:

With 25 laps remaining at Michigan International Speedway, Chris Buescher’s water pressure dropped to zero sending him to the garage for a diagnosis by the No. 37 Kingsford Chevrolet SS team that turned out to be a broken header. Buescher returned to the track once the problem was identified and was credited with a 36th-place finish.

“It was a tough day for our No. 37 Kingsford Chevrolet SS team,” Buescher said. “As soon as I saw the water pressure was zero, it made me worry. We took it to the garage and checked under the hood to see what was wrong. It turned out we had a broken header. We went back out and made it to the end.

"It’s unfortunate, but we learned some things that we can apply next time we come back to Michigan," Buescher continued. "We’ll look ahead to Sonoma Raceway and put this one behind us. Sonoma is a track that JTG Daugherty Racing has always ran well at in the past. Hoping we have a good run out there.”
